[
]Leather leggings appeared on the fashion circuit in the fall season of 2008. Love them or loathe them, they're still a sought after piece and as the seasons wear on, they're beginning to appear on many a shapely - and not so shapely - leg.

For whatever reason, they have remained on trend and can be found both online and in the high street. Most women love the look and feel of tight shiny leggings - others because they're not only flattering - they're comfortable too.

They've fast become a wardrobe staple and providing you know how to wear tight leggings and have the confidence to carry them off - you'll look good and certainly as though you know what's hip and cool in the fashion world.

The best leather leggings are the ones to the right. They're available in medium and large sizes - and they're a great faux leather pair that will get you and your new look off to a great start.

They're sassy, they're hot - and they flatter in all the right ways. They're also a breeze to wash and wear time and again - and are definitely the best pair all round. They're affordable and won't blow the budget - and they're exactly what I'm talking about when I say hot, on trend and gorgeous! Highly recommended!

If you really are planning on buying and wearing a pair - the main thing about leggings is this: they are not to be confused with something you'd find stretched around the legs of an avid horse rider.

Or Clint Eastwood, come to that matter.

They're not riding apparel and providing you avoid teaming them with plaid shirts and western hats, you'll be able to avoid walking down your local high street looking like a parody of a rider - trying to find her missing horse.

What To Wear With Leather Leggings

Worn with the correct accessories, tops and footwear, you'll turn heads (in admiration), rather than turn up the mouths of those you pass on your merry and oblivious way. The pair on the right are another great example of what a good quality pair of shiny leather leggings should look like - faux or otherwise.

These ones are available in a range of sizes - from x-small up to a large, plus you can buy them in more than just black - gray, gold and blue to name a few. They fit like a glove and - when worn correctly they'll look totally awesome.

That said … the bottom line when it comes to wearing them is this: don't try too hard. Make sure you look casual without looking tatty and chic without looking cheap. In a nutshell, classy not trashy.

All easily done, if you follow a few simple guidelines.

Wearing Leather Leggings

How to wear leather leggings? Carefully. Don't wear them with knee high boots for e.g. - you'll appear more swashbuckling than fashionable. Instead, wear them with heels or a nice pair of flat pumps.

Pay attention to how they look on your legs when you try them on. Don't buy them if they're anything less than skin-tight. They need to look more like a pair of footless tights than wrinkled stockings.

You're aiming for a leg-enhancing 'sheer' appearance and if they're less than tight, leave them on the hanger. Top tip: horrible but true - make sure they're tight on the leg but not leggins for women in the crotch area.

During the day, a rock chick type t-shirt or similar apparel will do nicely. For going out, choose something more flowing, like a tunic top or longer, more structured t-shirt. Accessorize to match, paying attention to detail.

You could team your leather leggings with a black boho tunic, a fitted black jacket - something similar to the Pea Coat style - then add in some color with a red clutch bag and matching red costume jewellery.

The point is this: wearing a leather legging ensemble is supposed to create a look that screams trendy, chic - stylish. The correct coordination will do just that.

Aim to look as though your outfit was effortless and donned with ease, not with a lot of hair tearing angst.

Be cool and you'll look just that. Try too hard and … well … the good, the bad and the ugly will springs to mind.

Faux Leather Leggings

Faux leather leggings are a great alternative to real leather - and they're usually what you'll find on the shelves in clothing stores.

For one thing - they're washable. You can't just throw leather into a washing machine. You'll probably end up with something that looks like a shammy leather.

They tend to be made from spandex or a similar stretch fabric, with a polyurethane outer coating.

Basically, leather look, shiny leggings. But - the end result is the same. Sleek and sexy, and infinitely easier to care for.

Now you've got the 'idea', here are some leather leggings fashion style tips. Call it a 'do's and don't' list.

The trick is - pay attention to the tips … that way you'll definitely avoid the fashion victim look.

They are not tights

And tights (footless ones) are not leggings

Black is best. Period

Do not attempt to recreate the 'stirrup pants' look. It was nasty the first time round and will forever remain … nasty

No tightness around the crotch. Camel toe is just plain wrong

No knee high boots. You're not a pirate

Layering is a fab way to dress up (or dress down) your leggings

Do not confuse them with leather chaps - and in case you haven't, only wear chaps if you're intending to ride a horse. Leather chaps + fashion + night out = fashion suicide

No other leather needs to be worn. Therefore no leather tops, corsets yadda yadaa

Absolutely no VPL - ever.

Aim for either the rock chick or boho look

Shiny leggings are fine but the matte finish is just as cool

Flat pumps, ankle boots or sexy heels on your feet

Accessorize - but pay attention to color matching, texture and so on

Now you're armed with the know-how … you've no excuse. Remember: leather leggings can and do look great, providing you stay away from trying too hard.

Don't be caught resembling anything like a cowboy. Top Tip: Clint's never worn footless leggings when riding.[
] - Comments: 0

[
]Best Shoes to Wear With Leggings

Leggings are comfortable, trendy and great for styling some clothes as well as obscuring flawed legs. Paired with the correct shoes, they can style your outfit for daytime casual elegance to a night-out sexy look. Choosing the best shoes to wear with leggings is not one of the simplest tasks. But with these style tips, it's not as difficult, and the choices are numerous.

Because of their simple nature, leggings are cute for almost all body types. The key is to choose what fits you best. You can select from a variety of styles including leather, shiny, neutral or patterned. Leggings are mostly ankle-length, though it is common to find mid-calf and below-knee lengths.

Finding good shoes to wear with leggings is a matter of playing with styles. You can get diverse looks with the same pair of leggings. The outcome is mainly dependent on the footwear you choose.

Due to their varying heights, leggings can be styled to show part of your feet, or to completely cover your legs. Tall shoes like boots or high top converse may not expose any part of your legs. But you may use short or open footwear to reveal cute feet.

How to Wear Leggings with Heels

Heels are the ultimate feminine shoes to wear with leggings. Leggings and heels is a sexy combination that makes your legs look wonderful. You can try different types of heels to see which ones produce that magnificent leg-lengthening effect. For a daring look, try stiletto pumps and shiny or leather leggings. Pair with a neutral top like a tunic to balance the outfit.

Most types of heels will go well with leggings. But a good number of girls would opt out of pointy-toe pumps owing to their associations to obsolete fashions. However, even the pointed toe varieties are worth experimenting with. If both shoes and leggings are dark, the outfit may look good. But you should take care when mixing colors as they might clash and look ridiculous.

If you want something special for an evening or night-out, try patterned or ornamented heels with neutral leggings. Different heights of heels will have a varying effect on your leggings. Try out high heels, wedges or mid-heights to see which ones are best for you. Also assess the gap between the heels and the bottom of your leggings. Though a smaller gap looks better, you can still wear mid-calf leggings with heeled footwear.

For a more sophisticated look, try low heels with a tank top or a wrap dress. Kitten heels are great in spicing up casual bottoms. They are simple but fashionable enough to style even plain outfits. This look can be dressed-down for casual outings, or dressed-up for the office.

Heels with ankle straps do not necessary go well with all varieties of laggings. If you choose this type of shoe, make sure they closely match in color with the leggings. Otherwise, try mid-calf or over the knee hosiery.

Wearing Leggings with Boots

Leggings are perfect with boots provided they fit nicely to avoid gathering when tucked into boots. Though leggings are nice with any height boots, they are extra cute with tall boots. But the style of boots mainly depends on the shape of your legs and your personal preference.

For a stylish and laid-back look, knee high or calf length boots will do. Heeled boots are also elegant for ladies who are stuck on heels. This outfit pairs well with long sweaters or cardigans. Play around with different styles like riding or classic boots.

In winter and fall, knee boots with leggings under a skirt or dress will look wonderful. For a casual look, wear mid-calf or knee-high flat boots and pair with a long sweater or cardigan. Combat leather boots are especially perfect for the winter. Avoid wearing them for sunny outings.

During the summer, opt for lace-up boots or ankle booties. These varieties are cute with leggings and will not make your legs unnecessarily hot. For day wear, evening or night out, pair with a long top like a tunic or button-up shirt. You may add a necklace and a belt over the top for a more stylish outcome.

If you want to create the illusion of shorter legs and thicker calves, choose ankle or mid-calf boots. Boots that cover only the thinnest part of your lower leg are particularly good at camouflaging thin legs. Shorter boots look better when paired with mid-thigh or longer tops. If you want to add some accent, wear bright socks that are two inches or so higher than the boots.

To avoid your legs looking thicker, wear ankle boots that have a looser top. Match and mix colors the way you want but avoid very light or toned leggings with very dark ankle boots. A black pair of leggings with black or brown ankle boots black leggings is a great combination for women with wide legs.

How to Wear Leggings with Flats

Flats are probably the most popular shoes to pair with leggings for ladies who don't like heels. All types are appropriate depending on the circumstance. Oxfords, ballet flats, flip-flops or gladiator sandals are all great with leggings and a cute tunic. This outfit gives you a pretty and cool look especially if the footwear exposes the top of your foot.

For special occasions, choose high quality pointed flats. They have the elegance of pumps but without the discomfort of heels. For casual wear, opt for ballet pumps. They are great for a laid back look. Smoking inspired flats are also cute particularly with dark leggings. This makes a fabulous evening outfit.

Wearing flats with leggings is a simple way of playing around with colors and styles without looking too stunning. You can try different textures, adornments and beading. Animal prints are greatly admired for their bold but stylish nature.

Ballet flats create a cool and feminine look especially if they are in eye-catching colors or details. Try colors like red or patterns like polka dots with neutral leggings. Pair with a spectacular summer dress or floral tunic for a brilliant summer look. Add a cardigan or sweater to switch to cooler weather.

If you want your legs to look slimmer with ballet flats, choose flats that are darker or similar color with the leggings. You can wear a dark but ornamented pair to break the monotony. If you want to create a more trendy appearance, go for metallic ballerina flats like silver or gold.

How to Wear Leggings and Sneakers

For a calm and casual look, pair your leggings with stylish sneakers. You can wear wedge or flat sneakers. Select a pair that is tastefully cute because leggings will not cover any part of your shoes.

Although any type of sneakers is great for the gym, be careful when selecting shoes for going out. Any type of sneakers that is similar to sports wear will look ridiculous for street or party wear. If you must wear sports shoes with your leggings, choose generic ones that are designed for casual wear.

Canvas sneakers are the best type for warm weather because the fabric is breathable. They are also comfortable due to their softness and therefore ideal for a weekend outing. In the winter, you can layer them with thick socks. A good number of girls prefer socks that hit higher than the shoes for contrast.

If you like the athletic look, wear leggings with converse and a graphic tee. You can also pair with a sports or casual T-shirt. Converse footwear is great in toning down shiny or ornamented hosiery to create a more relaxed outcome. Their height is perfect with leggings. Converse high tops are fabulous with leggings due to their boot-like appearance.

Wearing Leggings and Sandals

Wearing leggings with sandals can be very tricky. To pair them, you must have really nice feet and toes. A good pedicure with daintily painted toe nails is a must if you want to look fabulous in leggings and sandals.

Sandals are great for summer outdoor gatherings. You can try strappy wedges, gladiators or flip-flops depending on where you are going. For a night-out, wear colorful or patterned leggings with simple dark sandals. Dark leggings will go well with glossy or ornamented sandals.

For casual day wear, choose a relaxed pair of sandals with a sundress, miniskirt or a bright light-weight tunic. If you want a less casual look, choose luxurious sandals like leather or velvet. Complete the outfit with a cute tunic.

If you must wear sandals with fancy ankle details or tones, make sure they agree with the style of your leggings. You can also try nude, dark or shorter leggings with such sandals. Otherwise, figure out the theme of the flats and select leggings in that color. For instance, if the details have a blue background, pair with blue leggings. Most animal print sandals will go well with leggings in a different animal print.

When choosing shoes for leggings, almost any idea can work. You can mix colors the way you want provided they don't clash. To add contrast, wear a bright belt or reveal a lace top under another top with deep V-neck. This strategy is ideal to spice up a head-to-toe black outfit.

To ensure a cute look, choose leggings with a smoothening effect. Also look for your most appropriate length. Ankle-lengths can fit almost anybody but shorter lengths are better suited for slim girls. Use these style tips when deciding what shoes to wear with leggings for a sophisticated and stylish look.[
] - Comments: 0

Your jewelry should continue this theme with feminine ribbon details.

5. Hosiery Leggings

You can use leggings in the place of traditional pantyhose. Pay special attention to your shoes because this will be the focal point of your outfit. Go for a lace version. This is a way to wear a miniskirt but still get a lot of coverage. You can also add in pattern with a marbled effect in bohemian style earth tones. These types of leggings are going to be the most form fitting, and you probably wouldn't want to wear them without something over them because the fit is going to be like tights.

[

Leading And Lagging Indicators - 11 Mar 2017 13:02

Tags:

[
]It's been a ground breaking week for the Australian sharemarket with the 200 day moving average being broken and the market smashing past the 4000 mark.

Why is this significant? Because it means that the longer-term bear trend which has been in place since November 2007 has come to an end.

Here I'll explain the significance and the importance of understanding leading and lagging indicators, like the 200 day moving average.

Indicators

When it comes to technical analysis, there are lagging or leading indicators. Understanding which category the indicators fall into can help technical analysts understand strengths and weaknesses in your trading tool box, but they can have disadvantages as well.

Leading indicator

A leading indicator gives a buy or sell signal before the new trend has started.

Now before you get too excited thinking "here's the crystal ball that I've been looking for my whole trading life", one of the problems with leading indicators is that it gives lots of fake signals.

So while you do get a head start on the trend, you also get lots of false starts.

Lagging indicator

On the other hand, you have lagging indicators. The 200 day moving average is a lagging indicator. So what's a lagging indictor?

These indicators catch a trend after it has started so it's a little slow.

The plus is that it is more reliable.

The problem is often you miss the very beginning of the trend which may mean you miss a significant chunk of profit.

Leading oscillators in more detail

Leading indicators in the form of leggings for women oscillators such as RSI (Relative Strength Indices), Parabolic SAR and stochastic, give a buy or sell signal before the new trend has started.

If you use any of these, remember that you may get a head start on the trend but you need to back up your signals to make sure it's not a fake.

More about lagging momentum

What about lagging momentum indicators? Some examples are moving averages and the MACD. These indicators tend to be reliable but are slow. So keep in mind that you have accuracy but you may be sacrificing a chunk of profit in return for the accuracy.

Combining indicators

In the end, no one indicator is the holy grail of profits. In actual fact, you can get a clearer picture of what is happening by combining indicators.

Try using both leading and lagging indictors to get an edge in terms of accuracy and profitability.

In summary, the 200 day moving average has been broken which is positive but remember that this indicator is slow. If you have a look at a leading indicator like RSI, then the market is starting to look overbought so be careful because the leading indicator is sending an alarm that it could soon be time for consolidation before the market moves higher.

Remember, leading indicators have the advantage in being able to spot a trend before it starts but is prone to many misleading signals. Lagging indictors are more reliable but tend to be a bit slow. I like to use both to get a clearer picture of a developing trend and then confirmation of a trend.

Now on Twitter!

Follow my sharemarket updates on Twitter: http://twitter.com/belldirect

Happy trading!

By: Julia Lees

Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com

Julia Lee is an Equities Analyst for online share trading platform Bell Direct.
